UPDATE: US House Votes with 8 Republicans Joining Democrats to Shelve Impeachment of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas Who Has Overseen the Purposeful Invasion at the US Border​

The House just voted to shelve the legislation and refer Rep. Greene’s resolution to impeach DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to the Homeland Security Committee to prevent a vote tonight on the resolution itself. The motion to refer was offered by Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-MA).

8 Republicans voted with Democrats to save Mayorkas from being fired. 13 Republicans refused to vote on the resolution.

Here are the 8 Republicans:

  1. Patrick McHenry – North Carolina
  2. Tom McClintock – California
  3. Virginia Foxx – North Carolina
  4. Darrell Issa – California
  5. Cliff Bentz – Oregon
  6. Ken Buck – Colorado

Securing our border is the single most important issue that we have. IMHO. It is amazing that we have elected an executive and a congress who won't fulfill one of the most basic responsibilities that the federal government has.

I’ve got a great spending proposal that will satisfy your campaign donors, boost American jobs, keep tax dollars here at home, and save lives (instead of ending them)

It’s called the Deportation Force

There are 8 million new illegal aliens + millions of illegals that came here before Biden’s open border

That’s a LOT of transportation and security services that will need to be provided

Let’s use American tax dollars to actually benefit Americans citizens for a change

Except he didn't use the word "goal". He's simply stating that the United States has become known as the great melting pot of cultures, and a celebrated part of our identity. After all, the Statue of Liberty doesn't say "Give me your white, your poor, huddled masses yearning to breathe free."
