Will rain postpone this game? Nobody wants to tear up their field the first game of the season. Hopefully today will be dryer than predicted.

I believe this game will get played regardless of weather, but we will see. Hoping my Wolves can compete tonight.
South Point and Lincolnton usually a good game. Wet conditions can cause SP problems handling the ball. I pray if game is played, that everyone remains injury free.. GO BIG RED!!!

Congratulations to the Red Raider, much respect for you guys. SP just wore us down by keeping our defense on the field so much with long sustained drives, offensive line firing off the ball, stingy defense, solid running backs and even a bit of a passing game when necessary.
I think this was a game SP would have found worthwhile. We gave them something of a workout in that we hit them as hard as they hit us and forced them to adjust to our passing, which they did.
As for Lincolnton this game shows us what needs to be done to compete against a good team. We had some bright spots but SP was just the better team.

I agree, Lincolnton is much improved from last season. Good luck the rest of the way!
