this raises a point I've never thought of. OB breaks of a run, gets called for a block in the back. USP gets a facemask penalty. Now if the block in the back were significantly downfield, USP would've benefitted by committing the penalty b/c it offsets and you replay the down as opposed to just penalizing OB from the spot of the penalty.

The block in the back may have occurred close to the line of scrimmage but it raises an interesting question.

Those mfers have the damn mojo. 80 games is absolutely unreal. I just got back from South Meck-Independence (of Chris Leak fame). They are the ones that won 109 straight. From talking to fans, they just lucked out with fantastic quarterbacks, solid receivers, very quick defense (they were pretty small) and *cough* recruiting *cough*.

I would say Croom snuck down on the sidelines and called that one, but we all know he would never fake a FG. Seriously, though, a truly dumb call. It would've been a 23-yard FG, and apparently SP has a pretty decent kicker.
