From David Murray’s talks with Cohen regarding DWS, apparently we’re looking at a lounge style area in the SEZ

If the current tent setup wasn’t so ugly - they are actually pretty nice once you get under one.

There are a bunch of major tent/structure companies sitting on the sideline right now that would love to spruce that up. And I’d love to climate control all of them and need to be there on standby 7x this year. Could even go infrared on returns or positive pressure to deal with covid concerns. Just thinking out loud here though. I’m sure they don’t want to spend any $$ at this point

I can see how it would be OK for partying during the game, but can you tell what's going on in the game from ground level in the end zone? I've only sat in the end zone a couple of times (Alabama and OM come to mind) and you can't really see the game.

No, you can't at all. The North End Zone Gridiron club is terrible in my opinion, there's a constant parade of people walking in front of you. Photographers, writers, state troopers, cheerleaders, Bully, the band, etc. For me, even when I've sit up higher in the North End Zone Scoreboard Club, its just not a good look if you care to see the plays developing and are into the game. If you want to watch on TV and eat inside its ok, but if I'm going to do that I'm staying home

Yeah. I never want to sit in the end zone, but if I ever do, I want to be high up.

I thought it was high enough. Sitting in the endzone is definitely not preferred but it’s a good 8-10 ft off the ground. It’s no worse or better than the scoreboard club imo for viewing. The one I would not like is the gridiron club.

Oh my God I forgot all about those. I’m now rolling over in laughter remember that fiasco

Ole Miss gonna Ole Miss. This is what happens when you miss out on revenue because of being in the NCAA doghouse and what little money you have is going toward lawyer fees.

That's good. I've sat at Southern Miss's south end zone a few times-- a bit further up than your perspective and the view's not bad at all.

Going to watch games in Jackson back in the day I sat in the endzone. I did not think much about it when I was a teenager. I sat in the End Zone a few years ago when State played at BYU. I hated it. However watching Nic Ftiz go air borne was pretty cool. I will never sit in the Endzone again if I can help it.

There is a old joke in Houston that the best office is in the Old Exxon building, because then you don't have to look at it.

I think the same thing about the South Endzone tents. Sitting there makes the stadium look better than anywhere else because you cannot see the dumb tents...
