She said ICUs are at 87% capacity statewide. Alabama had the highest single day case total yesterday on top of that.
You’re basically seeing the same story play out all across the South.
Highly doubt that. Usually it's indoor public spaces. If true though, there's about to be a shortage of folks on the Alabama beaches. So you got to wear a mask sitting on Orange Beach?
So the plan is to just keep adding counties to the mandate as things get “bad”, instead of trying to keep them from getting that way in the first place..genius.addressing the worst hit/minimizing pissing off the entire voting base
It’s a mix. Lots of surgeries that were put off in the spring are being done now, putting more people in ICU. I’ve got at least two accounts that are cutting back on elective surgeries again...lack of beds. They're flooded alright, but I wouldn't say its from COVID.

I really haven’t seen that many people not wearing mask in the stores... I am getting close to double digits on people I know that have tested positive in the last few weeks.. only 1 was sick with Flu like symptoms, 2 others had runny nose/sore throat... the remainder had no symptoms.

My thought would be, is there really any good argument for not wearing a mask? I know there are those that will say but, but, but, freedom which is dumb. If there is even a 1% chance that masks can help, why not just put the damn thing on?
