What ever happened to Travis and Co? They get involved in a piss-fight with WHO?
Back in the day when “Sound-off” invented itself it was Mike Newell, reading football scores after Iowa football on Saturday afternoon…. And then Iowa BEAT Nebraska and Mike decided to celebrate and opened up the phone lines. It was complete spontaneous and and gave us real fan input and fan celebrities like “Tommy from Des Moines”….
What I heard last night sounded awfully corporate and something that doesn’t want unpredictability.

The Black and Gold Rush is the name for their post-game show.
They're on YT now after Ross got fired by corporate above KXNO last year (can't recall who owns them off the top of my head), and Travis decided to step away shortly after.
Their daily show is The Rush, now, since they can't take "The Morning Rush" with them.
It'll probably take some time for fans to come around and rediscover them, but the format should be a bit smoother than being on radio because they don't have to do 5-8 minute segments of calls.....and then 10-15 minutes of the same got dam commercials over and over and over again for 3 hrs.
Their show last night only went a little over an hour and a half without the extra breaks.
I was hoping to find good post game show. Helps the drive home. I had my wife trying to find something while I was driving 80 west. (Little Daytona after football game) Found something I believe on 600 AM. Dave O'Hara, Marvin McNutt and not sure who else. O'Hara can talk a lot and say nothing. Jon Miller was even better than anything out there now.

In years past, on the radio WMT and WHO had 2 different shows. This year i think they were the same show. These shows were good for the drive home. But can get annoying especially after a loss or a close win vs. an inferior opponent. Why I liked 2 different shows.
This is the one I listened to on WHO last night, and the one I assumed the OP was about.
Strange, i probably missed the 1st 30 minutes, but listened on/off on WHO the rest of the night.
Doug Wagner was the other guy who does a political driven morning show on WMT. I worked with him back in the day when he was a sales guy and he’s a moron.
McNutt is the HC for Keokuk high school this year so he won’t be on all year with Iowa having some Friday night games.
Wagner isn’t a sports guy other than a fan. Odd choice to have him host.
Any idea if Miller is alive? I saw he went offline after the election and hasn't been spotted since.
He posts on BlueSky and has been active there. Lots of posts about the Royals and music and still watches the Hawks. He’s been smoking pot for awhile now.
Once his daughters got older he went from a right winger to a left winger. He’s totally opposite of what he used to be politically. I don’t think he’s spoken to Deace in quite some time which probably isn’t a bad thing. Deace is a sellout snake who hardly is worth trusting on anything.
