The last quarterback to enter the supplemental draft was Terrelle Pryor, who was a third-round bid in 2011 for the Raiders. The league still needs to approve Sorsby's application for there to be a 2026 supplemental draft, which would take place sometime later this summer.”
He will get drafted, too much talent, but will he be able to keep from gambling? Lots of risk that hes Art Schlichter, so I'd guess a 4th round bid from someone will get him.
I agree...there won't be any discipline. I just don't think he's talented enough that anyone spends a pick on him with the baggage associated with him. Maybe Cleveland does. Or the Jets. But just feels unlikely
In the typical entry level draft I'd agree but not in the supplement. Maybe of a team has a handful of 6th and 7th rounders next year they'll burn one.

I think some team will invest a 3rd round supplemental pick and, if he is drafted, Goodell will suspend him for a year.
A third seems so high in the supplemental draft--it's rare for anyone to even be drafted. Anything is possible.

There is. The NFL commissioner is granted broad authority to act in the best interest of the league by the league constitution and by laws. Goodell can easily suspend him if he sees fit. Sorsby won’t be dealing with a home town Texas judge; he’ll be dealing with Roger Goodell, who has an NFL Constitution, league by laws, and a collective bargaining agreement backing up his position.
I don't think he would be banned by a league that is in with the gambling services he probably used, but the league may also want to make a show of punishment.
If an over/under on draft round were to be set, I'd put it at 4.5 and take the under.
Agree, but once he’s a member of the league, he’s subject to any administrative action the commissioner may want to take. Sorsby is not going to waltz into the NFL. He’s an admitted gambling addict who bet on his own team multiple times. This is a huge problem for the league, who must protect competitive integrity at all costs.
