Throw clunckers and lack luster D. Fox needs to take a couple steps in and only take a 3 if wide open standing set. hopefully these guys get more of a role and get away from the HS run and gun stuff.

Willis already can't guard his man. Lets put Mulder in also. This is like our football team. No defense.

We don't make the elite 8 with Mulder playing more than Monk.....maybe not the second weekend....

Plus, it looks like Monk has even more Murray in him than I thought, 2nd half guy. Murray, especially early, literally stunk in the first half and then exploded in second.

Mulder can shoot, Monk cannot. We need shooters.

It seems like so many "fans" after two games are chomping at the bit to label Monk or Bam as the next Skal so they can thump their chest in February when we should all just be enjoying this team, watching their development and trusting in the coaching staff. Geez. TWO. FREAKING. GAMES. (and we're 2-0)

People were saying the same thing about Jamal Murray early into the season last year. Devin Booker started out 1-11 from 3 as well. Not saying Monk is going to shoot it at anywhere near the clip that they did, but you can't just write guys off as not being able to shoot so early into the season.

I've never criticized cal on here before, but I agree that Mulder should play and thought him not having much experience going into the NCAAs last year could've cost us. I don't care what type of team you have, you don't need a shooter like Mulder collecting rust on the bench all year, it'll hurt us later on. Cal shouldn't have recruited him if he wasn't going to play, dude would've got plenty of clock anywhere else.

Monk is going to play a major role in any deep run we make and needs every second on the court that he can get.
How would it hurt monk to have a player push him for time if monk's stinking it up on the court? It seems the opposite to me, let monk know he's got a replacement if he's not playing at an elite level.

No man, he is a stud and his issue right now is getting the flow of the game down. He needs minutes, and lots of them. Starting and stopping won't help him.
