The team morale/chemistry is very off right now. Has been for the last month. Can’t quite figure it out. It’s like one of them want to be there anymore, want the season to just end or something. Pike needs to answer

Starting to play good competition. We’re just not as talented.
Pike quit on the team with the refs so the team has quit on pike. That’s why you saw Myles, Ron and others take to twitter to defend themselves from the refs. Because their own coach is spineless and won’t do it. They have quit on him
Lol if you actually think this is true, then you don’t deserve a coach as good as you have. And you’ll be the first one bitching when a better program pays him what he’s worth and hires him away.
I think it really is as simple as Myles not being out there. Doucore didn’t touch the ball once in the 5 minutes he was out there, he set maybe 3 picks. There’s no ball flow with him out there

4) Pikes needs to stand up and stand up for his kids. I know that Paul did a little acting on that play but that’s still should’ve been a foul both ways and pico doesn’t say a ******* word to the officials about it. Any head coach worth their salt over the past 40 years would’ve been screaming their living heads off at the officials.

a backup freshman center is not the problem.
Need to go back and focus on defense and rebounding. Both feed our transition offense and are non existent the last few games.
Pikiell is a defense/rebounding coach and if he doesn't get some defense/rebounding he needs to see himself out. The 2018 team was better defensively than this.. it's completely unacceptable.
no we won't. Myles keeps getting called for moving screens and ticky tack swipes away from the rim.
IMO he just needs to play near the rip, alter shots, block them when possible and grab the rebound.
Reiber should set the screens and chase or Docure, or Mag, or anyone else.
Tez needs to stop forcing it up and getting stuffed...
Very frustrating and Pike doesn't have any answers...only praise for the opposing coach and how well they're coached.

We have so many individuals that can take over any game, but last 2 no one has. Someone needs to take over
Last year we won games against more talented teams by playing great defense and rebounding. These guys have lost that identity. If they don't get it back, we have no shot at the post season. We are less talented/ athletic than every team we play.
Look at the bench. In the past they were always on their feet cheering and encouraging. Now they're just sitting there like they're asleep. Something is going on

Dude that’s not the point. I agree with you that Pikiell is not a great offensive coach. But if you have a team with the best defense and the 40th best half court offense that can be a top 5 team

40th best half court offense? That would be a PHENOMENAL half court offense. We are bottom 10% of the nation in half court offense imo
Meant to say 40th best offense generally. I mean last year we were 76th in offensive efficiency. Just get better players with the same concepts you could get that up into the top 50.
Pike does come off as a wussy at times. Complete opposite from Schiano.
Time for a change next season ?
