That should drop them out of the rankings, losing at home. And there was another 20-25 team that lost last night. Should help us back into the top25

Have to win at WVU which isn’t happening. To get back in UK needs to win their next four SEC games which isn’t happening either with at Missouri, Tennessee, and at A&M. I’m more concerned with making the tournament

I've seen nothing from Florida since losing 4 of 5 games, one to Loyola (not even THAT Loyola, either), to think they should have been ranked.. but there they were. A 5 loss team ranked 20th. The best part? They got a good win against Kentucky..

But, they say we aren't a good team.. soo....

LOL we will make the tourney easy. I actually think we might win on Saturday as we match up perfectly with WVU IMO . I think our road games at UF and AU will be much tougher then this game.

You don't think UK is one of the top 65 teams in the country?
Certainly, we are, but that has nothing to do with it. Teams who win their conference and/or tournament are not necessarily ranked, but do earn their right to be in the NCAA tournament.

Let’s win basketball games to get back in the top 25. Earn our way back instead of backing back in. Kentucky Basketball shouldn’t have to back their way into a top 25 ranking.

I can't imagine being the type of "fans that you are. Geez.

Guy is a douchebag or a troll.

Calls us an NIT team every other post and predicts a 20 point loss to WVU.

Why we get so many trolls, fans or not, is beyond me.

I love the ranking, sure.. But it's more about getting a true stance of where a team is. Florida and the other team (still forget, some midmajor) should be ranked behind us at this point. Their losses, the ones this week particularly, tell me they aren't better than Kentucky. And no, I don't care that Florida beat us. A young Twolves team with a sophomore KAT beat the historically elite Golden State Warriors a year or two ago.. Doesn't mean they were better team, though.

Florida now has what.. 7 losses? 6 losses? A loss to Loyola and a win over a short handed TAMU team? Yeah.. They aren't a better team.

So you saying we don't have a chance.

Well back to the vague OP. What was being referred too? A home loss by Florida or something behind the scenes?

From what I have seen, most of the SEC teams are all about the same, they have one or two really good players, a few that can have a good night, and others who are role players. Florida beat us, we fell apart at South Carolina, and still didn't look very good against Miss State at home but did hit our free throws (which if we had at South Carolina we would have pulled that game out).

Kentucky has a good but not great team. We are certainly a team in the top 25 with some correctable issues and some I don't see that will be. If we improve our passing, Vanderbilt and Green build back to where they were (Vanderbilt as a high school star and Green earlier this season), we will have a team capable of knocking just about anyone off. I don't see a solution for our center position though and ultimately that will cost us perhaps not in the SEC as much as the tourney.

WVU at their home court would likely be expected to be a loss even if we were playing much better. But, who knows, sometimes on the road you slow it down, which could decrease our turn-overs, and if we are hitting shots, well that's why you play the game.

We have a significant number of actual fans that need a dictionary and a bit of an attitude adjustment because they seemingly sincerely believe being realistic is the same is cynical and pessimistic and think anything less negative than that is pumping sunshine. Positivity seems to actually damn near cause physical discomfort.

Then we also have a ton of trolls that feed and feed off of them in a icious cycle to the point now that even wins are an excuse to complain or just pass largely in silence awaiting the next thing to get bitter and morose about.

The top 65 (68) teams do not make the tournament.

Have to be in the top 36 teams left after the 32 automatic bids. So win an automatic bid or be in the group of 36 best teams that are left.

So, yes we will be in the tournament.

Saturday Night Live character who was always finding the worst in every situation. Played by an incredibly ugly cast member who I choose not to remember, and will not Google for you.
I’m not saying Rachel Dratch is Miss America—but show us your pull.

Kentucky again has a good team at present. No, not great but certainly will be in the NCAA tourney. We still can hope in the next month more improvement occurs and we could surprise plus with the luck that some teams can get, go past the first weekend. But, I am worried about now.

What are your plans tomorrow at 7pm EST? You clearly have no reason to watch UK/WVU.
