It's not complicated. We aren't very skilled and that has been the case the entire season. The game tonight didn't reveal anything we didn't already know. When you aren't a top 5 team, you're going to look like garbage on the road occasionally.
This. It's hard for these guys to get a rebound with traveling.

recruiting, yes
I disagree somewhat. These are still "elite 5*" players that understandably would struggle for awhile until getting acclimated, but they digressed instead of getting better.

Cal's offense, or lack thereof, isn't working with these kids and he's gonna have to suck it up and make changes that will suit these types of players. That's what he gets paid to do and allegedly is one of the best coaches in the business. We are so predictable in our offense and out of bounds plays.

Hopefully, he can find some way to have this group mesh better before the tourney begins.

If nothing changes, everything remains the same.

Knox quitting is b.s. not much to do when the point guard goes Archie Goodwin 90 percent of the time.
That's a result of not running an offense. No movement, no screens, just one guy dribbling and four guys watching. The end result is the guy with the ball driving to the rim or someone throwing up a jumper late in the shot clock. Jumpers haven't been falling so SGA driving is all we've got. This is my biggest gripe with Cal. He's got to design some plays to get guys open. Can't rely on raw talent this year.

AAU ball is killing our kids’ basketball fundamentals. AAU takes precedence over high school/middle school ball which is where the fundamentals are taught. Most college freshman don’t know how to properly block out for rebounds, get in defensive position, set picks, shoot free throws, etc. My 10 year old son started AAU this year and not 1 time did they work on dribbling, blocking out, or individual defense. It’s running up and down the court, no discipline or structure at all.

I call BS on recruiting. We have pieces, they are just playing horribly together. While the competition has amped up we have also not been playing with any intensity except for random bursts at the end of games. Maybe the addition of JV, hurt some guys' feelings and now there is in-fighting. The team I saw against ATM is not even playing with the same chemistry that they did a few weeks ago.

This time of year we should know the value of the basketball, be getting a clue defensively and running some type of offense so we can eat off of SGA and 1s, lobs, offensive putbacks and a few 3 here and there. Usually someone is learning how to pick and pop at this point. Currently we have none of that. It is really discouraging. We have regressed back to August.

Part of it is we are losing and to an extent losing begets losing and then people turn on each other. Of course the paradox is you need to play together to win and build morale. Someone on the team needs to step up and take charge, they are tuning Cal out so this is the only way.

Like clock work when teams are not playing well fans start rumours. Two years ago when the football team was playing bad someone started a horrible rumour about Coach Stoops. Sometimes teams have a down year. It sucks but it is what it is.

Who in the world said that? That's a new one on me.

If he was to somehow get those kids to the final four, it would be his best coaching job to date. These boys is horrible in every offensive facet of the game that there is, defense and rebounding is not alot better..

I bought two monkeys last week. Brought them home and now they are playing basketball in the back yard. I'm training them daily to be good shooters. Both are currently shooting 52% from the 3. I'm poor and need money. Do you think a circus might pay me money to have them show off their shooting? Thinking about bringing them to Rupp and turning them lose in the lower arena. I bet the blue hairs would show some excitement, right. One is called Tarzan and the other is Coach K. I tell you Coach K is one ugly monkey and the worst liar I ever met.

Does anyone else notice we dont take charges, like ever?
Must be on account of our impenetrable defense. No opportunity for opposing offenses to drive on us. [eyeroll] That, or the bevy of wide-open perimeter shooting opportunities we make available as a preferred option.
