Croom acknowledged the difficulty of the season for himself. "There's no question it's been tough," he said. "It's been very frustrating." The biggest problem was deflecting blame off his players, he said.</p>

"So I just simply say, hey - everybody's looking for somebody to blame (and) I'm that guy," Croom said.</p>

Can somebody help me understand this? Who the hell are these people that are blaming the players? Who are they? I can only think of one person constantly blaming the players: THAT MFer CROOM.

It's time for Veazey or Locke or Hampton to sack up and ask this MFer to identify the people that are blaming the players.

you're right. I can't think of a single time anybody, on the sixpack at least, has blamed McShank or Carlson for their failures.

I could have sworn most of the criticism over Carlson and McShank was thrown back on Croom. "Why are they on the field?"
