There is a bright spot in that story. To me, it sounds like the kid figured out this teammate was a douchebag and didn't want to be around or room with him. That is a big positive. So often, we reflect the company that we keep, and that can work in a negative or positive way. That young man seemed to be trying to protect his future, a sign of good decision making at a young age.
Back to the glory years of Charlie Pell, Galen Hall, Norm Sloan, Vernon Maxwell, Dwayne Schintzius, Bobby McKibbin and the rest. Oh, what a time to be on the UF beat.
