I'll he glad when the NBA drama is over for this year. The writing is on the wall he wants to go so let him go. Make a decision and do it but no reason to troll the fans that stuck by him through a year like this team had.
PJ and the rest are going to do what they think is best for them, not us fans. We might think it is the wrong choice if they decide not to come back but I'm sure Coach Cal has a backup plan in place and we will have another competitive team ready to go in October.

Agree 100%. I have no problem with them going but just go if you want to go. Enough with antics and the teasing and the ********. Messing with the fan base by a 19 year old kid is not a good look. (The same fan base whose $$ they’ll gladly pocket on their autograph tour when they DO go). I think it attention whoring at its most blatant and disrespectful. At some point you would think someone (Cal) would step in and tell them to knock it off.

I probably should just let this stuff go, but for some reason, today I decided not to. The "writing" is on the wall for every decent basketball player in the country. They all want to go pro. And the players aren't creating any drama, the fans are. There is nothing that PJ or his dad has said that indicates that they are willing to do anything other than what any sensible person would do, which is leave for guaranteed millions. Maybe he will, but just because these players don't give up on their dreams as easily as the fans give up on their dreams doesn't mean they have no interest in being at UK. Fans hanging on every tweet and instagram post are the ones creating the drama.
I have nothing good to say about Pj right now so I'm going to pass until this crap gets even worse. And it doesn't make Cal look good either.

No one is “hanging,” he’s putting this “not until May 30th” crap out there and it subsequently was linked to this forum. He’s gotten his combine feedback, he likely knows where he stands and his decision by now is probably made so in my opinion there’s is no need for the “second coming of signing day” dramatic LOOK AT ME build up. Get over yourself PJ (and Diallo before him). There will be Kentucky basketball in October regardless what happens on 5/30.
Did PJ link his instagram to this forum, or did some fans?? And how do you know he has his decision made? I mean he does still have a few workouts left to go. And what exactly do you think he is accomplishing by waiting until next week, assuming that he knows his decision? There isn't going to be any more attention on the decision than it currently is. Some care, some don't, and neither side is going to change in the next week. And again, I ask, who is making this a big deal, PJ or the fans?? Most of the people complaining about the drama wouldn't even know there was drama if it weren't for fans posting stuff like this. Just like you mentioned Diallo, who had a workout hours before the deadline, you have no idea what is taking place in private. There was page after page and multiple threads about how Diallo was selfish, and a drama queen. But that was all created solely by the fans. In the end, Diallo made a decision, and a bunch of fans looked like idiots. If the fans would quit making such a big deal out of it, it wouldn't be near as bad.

This. It's a game. We just have a bunch of losers on here who take it far too serious. Win or lose, there lives do not get better or worse...at least mine doesn't. I will watch every year no matter what and cheer the team on. I won't be depressed after they lose anymore...not worth it. No game will steal my joy in life.

Nobody is forcing these grown adults (myself included ) to F’5 and hang on every single word and tweet they say. To dissect what they are saying , to assume what they “really mean” etc etc ... it’s played out .
I’ve gotten to the point where it’s “ehh , whatever “ they’re 17-19 year old kids ... I stopped investing so much emotion into their decisions as at the end of the day it’s really not that serious... UK will continue to thrive for years to come
Why haven’t you guys learned to just ignore everything until a final decision is made??? It saves you from the roller coaster ride of stress
