I would think that might make Duke more likely for an early Friday start.
It sounds like McPherson will not be on a pitch count. We just need to hit a lot
He’ll be on a pitch count. But it will be more like 90. So 6 innings if he’s fairly efficient. We need to run rule Lipscomb no matter who pitches.
I don’t think “run rule” is in effect for postseason games, but I could be wrong.

Here is how I’d be tempted to play it this weekend. For our own regional, you could combine me that Stone or McPherson is the best choice for Lipscomb. But I worry if Duke Stone can have a quality start vs Georgia. I’d be tempted to set it up to give us the best chance at a Super Regional against Georgia.
Throw off with our 3rd guy (Stone) in Game 1. And then see if TV can do his thing in Game 2. And hope you get McPherson to give you an ace-like effort in Game 3 against Georgia’s third starter.
