Announcers kept saying how funky his attack is and how comfortable he is in the crab ride position. I saw neither to be the case.

I thought he looked smaller than last year for sure. Don’t know if it was the black singlets playing tricks or what but he looks like he slimmed down somewhat. I don’t think it’s going to be some long term problem but he just didn’t look himself yesterday.

His opponents look pretty darn comfortable in that position too. So much they have a good success rate getting out. It's not very effective at this level against the better guys and puts him in precarious situations frequently.

He was pulling his opponent into him and basically handing out free reversals.

He is too short and physically small to be a 184, he should be at 174.

This is flat out wrong. He looked like a man last year at the same weight and routinely overpowered older and more experienced guys. In fact he was one of the only guys last season who looked like he belonged at the weight he was wrestling at.

He looked flat last night, some are speculating there was a bug going around the room and he’d be my leading candidate for one guy who was sick. He looked small and had no energy. That’s not the Soldano we usually see.

I said in another thread that the Vtech guys looked huge compared to RU. The frames on their guys were so much bigger it looked like they wee all cutting 40 lbs. White, Soldano and Poz should prob all be down a weight class. Soldano looks like his natural weight is around 180. The guys he's wrestling prob walk around at 215 in the offseason and cut to 184. Same with Poz.

Soldano’s frame does look more like a 174 only bc he’s stockier build.. wonder if he’s staying 84 bc Turley at 74 or if he’s more comfortable at 84.

VT guys looked huge in a couple of weights bc a lot of their guys r lankier build.. Latona looks huge at 133.. same wit their 141 Church… White looked huge compared to the VT backup.. he doesn’t need to drop weights..

White and Soldano shouldn’t have loss on paper but it’s early and let’s c what happens after a couple more duals..been tons of upsets this year..
