Keep being aggressive at the plate and let’s try to limit the damage their hitters can do.

Peja gets the ball in the circle. Biggest game in school history. Let’s get it.

noon on ESPN.

noon on ESPN.

Lots of TV sets will be tuned into ESPN at Noon today.
Lake houses, pool decks, patios and living room TV’s will be on ESPN.
May not be fully engaged in watching every pitch but lots of interest today and not only from State and Oklahoma fans.
Let’s take advantage DAWGS and get the W !!

Interesting to me that most (all?) of the bombs by Oklahoma yesterday were off our two aces. It's like they were well prepared for what to expect there but not so much from our relievers.

Probably means nothing, just a thought.

College softball brings in a lot of viewers. It’s the top sport for girls. Making the WCWS will give us a lot of exposure.

And there is a lot more ribbons and bows in the hair than there was 25 years ago. IYKYK

[615dawg]

Note that we are the home team on the scoreboard today.

Basketball

[615dawg]

Basketball

Basketball is way off for a variety of reasons.

[615dawg]

Strike zone tight again today

[00Dawg]

Basketball is way off for a variety of reasons.

Not in viewership. There it’s a wide gap favoring basketball

[615dawg]

wow. Great call by ump.

struck out their juggernaut and then called the runner out because of interference from her backswing.

[skydawg1]

Awesome strikeout then interference call for last 2 outs of the T1.

[615dawg]

We scored six runs in an inning and a third off this girl yesterday.

[Seinfeld]

For a school so fanatical about softball, why has the grandstand been half empty for this Super?

[thekimmer]

Our catcher had the awareness to make an attempt to get that interference call. We have not had that on several occasions with our baseball team this season.

[615dawg]

their husky girl problem. That’s a sure double that is a single.

[patdog]

Really nice play by Silva to hold that to a single.

[615dawg]

Peja needs to get out of this before the lineup turns over.

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

They are really squeezing the plate, but what a job by our pitcher!

[thekimmer]

Gotta throw strikes

Hey hey. You can talk about John Kruk’s weight. But you can’t talk about a softball players weight. Even if it impacts her performance.

[615dawg]

Need to get Peja a couple of runs. She’s pitching well.

I was a little heavy third baseman in high school. I once tried to stretch a single into double and the shortstop had time to check his watch before I got there.

Yep. The longer we can stay tied or get a lead, the more pressure they’re going to start to feel. We’ve got nothing to lose. They do.

[Bulldog45]

Either I don’t understand the softball strike zone or the camera angle throws off the perception watching on tv

[patdog]

That’s 2nd time their catcher has tried to show the umpire up. If I’m umpiring she’s not getting any close calls.

[615dawg]

Need a quick inning with their 9-1-2 coming up. Don’t want face Wells this inning.

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

I am surprised we were still on the field, listening to these announcers!

[MSUDAWGFAN]

I have never watched a softball game in my life but ai am today. I just tuned in.

Hail 17'n State!!!

[MSUDAWGFAN]

I might have to start tuning in more often. Lol.

Ha Ha, you've got know your limits.

[anon1787432961]

This broadcast is nothing but a OU showcase gross

[She Mate Me]

The strike zone is just 17ing ridiculous. Huge advantage to the better hitting team.

[615dawg]

You know the NCAA does not want a WCWS without Oklahoma.

[615dawg]

Going back to Faircloth.

going to have to get the bats going down 3-0

[thekimmer]

Girl on third looked like she had taken a lead. Cant they challenge that?

[Called3rdstrikedawg]

Is Parker the pitching coach? 5 walks. 2 of them scored and the 5th drove in a run.

[BTCMoonBoy]

Basketball is way off for a variety of reasons.

No joke ….there are some babes in maroon. And some mules in red

[Called3rdstrikedawg]

Are there a lot of Bars in Norman Oklahoma? Our girls apparently did some big time celebrating last night. Or is this the women’s beer league?

Just a little softball humor.

[Called3rdstrikedawg]

It’s kinda fun watching these Oklahoma girls hit. That ball was smoked!
