We beat A&M.

But we have a losing record against SEC refereeing.

OK... makes sense now.

Not sure the ref was in a position to see that. We win if the refs don’t make the phantom holding call, but not sure they are to blame for missing that on the sideline.

I hate to say I agree with you on that but I too anticipate a whole lotta BS. Going there is like going to hell with all their antics. Count on the referees being 100 percent ready and you can count on them playing like it’s a dam Super Bowl of some sort, their best game of the year- like Bama did.
I’m already pretty pissed off in an anticipation of the nonsense that it is sure to bring and prolly won’t even watch it as I refuse to have to buy a new tv right now.

Brandon Walker and Robbie Faulk were going back and forth on Twitter about this. Brandon says we lost the game because of the refs. Robbie says we lost the game because of awful special teams play. I say that both of these things can be true at the same time. If the game is called fairly/competently, OR if we hit two out of three field goals, we win the game.

Heck, if we hit one out of three field goals, we're in overtime, and I give our defense better-than-even odds if we only have to defend from the 25 in.

I’m as frustrated as anyone about the missed calls at the end of the game but we have had our fair share of bad calls go our way in games we have won. I mean Thomas’s TD in the Kentucky game was a pretty bad missed call. It goes both ways but you only really notice it when it affects your team negatively. The missed punch to the face is unacceptable though and should have some serious consequences but there won’t be any. That wasn’t a shove to the face mask. It was a clear punch and should have been a 15 yard penalty and an ejection. That should have been reviewed by the replay official. I don’t know that I have ever seen a missed punch before but I’m sure it’s happened, but it was clearly visible.
