Ironically it looks like Gonzaga might get to the sweet 16 as an 11 seed in a year they would not have made the tournament if they had lost in their conf championship game. They also will have a great shot to make an Elite 8 if they hold onto their 20 point lead vs Utah they will get either #10 Syracuse or #15 Middle Tennessee for an Elite 8.

It is ironic because the years they are a high seed they usually flame out early.

I will be rooting for Gonzaga as well and all the mid majors.

I only cheer for UK. I won't really watch the tourney now, although I do want our rivals to suffer crushing defeats. I also hope TAMU loses by 35. SEC, lol.

I will now be happily rooting for UL to go down in flames. Maybe one of the underdogs will win. I dunno. I don't care. I am also looking forward to football season, and next year's basketball season. Go Big Blue!!

I wouldn't mind seeing aTm just win the whole thing to give the SEC more credibility...might actually help preseason expectations/seeding next season.

It's funny. Gonzaga was previously known for looking great in the regular season, but then flaming out in the tourney. But this year the complete opposite pattern: mediocre regular season, but now looking great in the tourney.

Just more evidence of what an unpredictable crapshoot the NCAA tourney is. Nobody knows what's gonna happen in a single elimination 68 team format...

Golden State. I'm off to watch real basketball. This GS vs Spurs game now is great.

Maybe UNCCHeat. Possibly then the NCAA would have the balls to take the two that they shouldn't have hanging.

I'd rather learn pie baking techniques from Aunt Bee than watch UNC cheat their way to a national title.

AMEN to this!!!!

Duke stealing our title last year put me in near irreversible depression. If the cheaters from UNC win it this year, I will need meds for sure! The mere thought makes me want to vomit! What becomes of the ncaa if UNC does win?

Can't have Duke winning, because they have an excellent shot next year; I hate UNC; I hate Kansas. Indiana needs to lose, but they can lose in the Elite Eight. Actually, nope. Don't really care. I tried to watch, and it just dragged on after Kentucky lost.

As far as I'm concerned college basketball is over. It will be NBA playoffs and then failing miserably to finally get into baseball until football comes back.

Yea Gonzaga along with A&M, 'Nova, and Xavier. 'Nova cooperated today by pounding Iowa. Talk about a team that rose, and then fell hard. That'd be the Hawkeyes.

While I'm sad that UK is out, I'll probably still watch a good part of the rest of the tournament.

Who are you rooting for now? I'll cast my lot with Gonzaga just because Wiltjer is there.
Rooting For Kyle Wiltjer too. Want to see him do well! Otherwise, in most seasons I wouldn't watch another game.

Yeah and how much would it eat at us if they get there considering that should have been our spot in the tournament? No way do I want that to happen.
Not sure they really got our spot. I think we limited ourselves to a 4 seed by losing to Auburn and Tennessee. I guess it's all water under the bridge now.

I know it's just a game and it changes nothing about things that matter.
But I am sick and tired of the ACC bias in college bball. Is there bias with
SEC football? Probably. But we are not part of the football bias because the team is never any good. It stiil gives me heartburn the way the ACC is treated! I have a gut feeling nothing will happen to UNC and they will win the NCAA and all the media will slobber over them and the ACC. So I am for anybody but ACC teams and KU second.

Anybody but Wisconsin/IU/Duke/UNC/KU. I don't really care for Notre Dame, Syracuse, or Maryland, but I could stomach it if they won. I will root hard for Gonzaga, Iowa State, and UVA.

I want the lowest seeded teams possible in the F4 so the ratings for CBS suffers. Maybe then the NCAAT SC will do what they're supposed to do and seed the teams correctly.
