Shoop? No his defense let UT drive 91 yards and take 7 mins off clock in 4th quarter...
Joey Jones? Ha... they should leave him in Knoxville.
I say Tony Hughes.

Just let the year finish out. Take the time this year to be actually looking how teams play under guys. Actually do the work. Find the right fit and guy that understands hard nosed culture and just doesn’t say it in the interview.

Tony Hughes deserves a chance. He came back from JSU, has a little HC experience, and seems to love MSU enough to fight through this low spot. He is probably your guy, and he may manage to retain most recruits to boot.

We could have a hot water heater on the sidelines and it would do just as good.

I don't blame Cohen for hiring Moorhead. He was a hot name. It felt like a great hire at the time. Most of us were excited.

You gotta cut bait now, though. every day we stick with him is another step backwards for the program. When you know, you know.

Cohen knew for almost a month and hired JoeMo.... I think we need to start AD search now....

I think that also. Cohen has been underwhelming. He should have been made an associate for a while to learn from someone besides sitting in on a few hires. We need someone that really understands university sports administration

Maybe we were delusional enough to think that we had hired better than Dan..we were sold a bill of goods

I like Hughes as interim as well. Hes highly respected by the players. Thats what we need right now to lift these guys up and get some motivation going. Maintain motivation and recruiting is all that matters now until permanent replacement

I agree completely, Drebin, and I was a semi-holdout just out of sheer, blind, hope.

The number one goal of an interim would be to keep the recruiting class together and make sure talented players stay. Tony Hughes is our best bet on that.

It's gonna be tough to keep this recruiting class together even if Moorhead stays. We look like a dumpster fire and there are former players throwing shade at the coaches right now. Nobody wants to come be a part of that if they have options.

Dude, if you think Kt is the answer you are the joe Moorhead of fans. He will be lucky to land the starting job at Austin Peay. He’s garbage.

In a Mullen based offense he wasn’t bad. In Moorhead offense which is garbage he isn’t that great but our offense hasn’t really looked that great. Hell the offense had better overall numbers with Fitz than what we are seeing now. I don’t really blame KT with all of this **** show. Who knows how he would look if someone molded the offense around him. At this point though Shraders shirt is burned. If you do bring in a coach and KT doesn’t transfer then you have completion to see who is the best. Shrader will probably come out on top but maybe not based on whatever offense is ran. If it was Hughes he might would give kt a shot because he would want to do whatever he could to win and he was there when Mullen was there a knows what’s Mullen qbs can do when offense is melded to their ability. Shrader is very talented and probably would still win.
