Good luck in the NCAA's, bro.....

Go Cats/Hoosiers.

Bro....
Grow up. You said we hate IU. I said we don’t give a F about IU.

Again, what defenses have they played against? You gave me Nova from Nov 21, and of course IU (who split 2 and 3 point wins). We can go on and on with this debate, but you've yet to show me how Purdue can be trouble for UK. If you were talking speedy guards, I'd be right there agreeing with you. But so far you've presented nothing that convinces me that Purdue's "big dudes" and their offense/defense disparity will cause any issues for the Cats should they meet in the 2nd round.
Kentucky goes as Oscar goes----we have seen that----especially vs TN. There is HOW/WHERE Purdue could be trouble----They have two, very good, All-Big 10 centers, who also happen to be , well, BIG: 7'4" 295 and 6'10", 255----And Williams is skilled off the bounce, can shoot and is a terrific passer.

Speedy guards? Have you not seen Jaden Ivey?

I hope like hell if UK plays them, ya;ll win by 700....I hate that program. But you are looking at one dynamic, and ignoring everything else....

Sure there, "bro"....I'm talking hoops----not **** talking. I rarely have any issues on this board...I just keep it real...You respnd to me like a 6 year old, then tell me to grow up...You spewing off b/c I'm an IU fan shows the immaturity you are asking me to show...

Sounds logical...

How about just talk basketball?

With a 100 rated D they must be plodders, that doesn't bode will with our 4 guards.

THeir defensive issues is very surprising, TBH....Painter coached teams are usually very strong defensively...BUt I do think that number is a tad misleading, due to the offensive pace they play at...Key to beating Purdue, is getting them in a h/c game, and making them defend...Their transition defense is not bad---its their h/c defense that gets them in trouble.

Only reason I think Purdue is a big problem, is well, I think UK is as good as Oscar is----And Purdue has the ability to take him away....That, and they can flat out score. PLus, Jaden Ivey is a ***** nightmare. Top 5 pick----lot of pre-NBA, Ja Morant in this kid.

UT put two, TWO 7' dudes on Oscar. And he was out for at least 14 minutes of the game due to "fouls". Yet he still got 14 boards. FOURTEEN!

And yet another (20 in a row) double double. In just ~26 mins or so with two (I say again, TWO!) 7' dudes slobbering on his head!

What's Purdue got? A fast 7-footer? I just don't see the worry.
AS already said----Purdue's bigs are better than Tenn----and it aint close. And Bigger. Go watch some film on Trevion Williams, and get back to me....Very agile for a 6'10", 255 dude...athletic, can handle the ball, get to the rim off the bounce---really noce mid-range game---can shoot the three, and might be the best paassing big in CBB.

Edey is a monster....Space eater. Getting around that dude? Yikes.

Tenn big aren't scorers----Edey/Williams are. If they get Oscar in foul trouble, who does UK have that can guard them?

Not all 7-footers are created equal..

Man I have seen Arizona three times, and I'm like----"WTF"----the dudes get better every time I see them----And how is that possible. Man they are really good----And when they get it going? LIghts out....And share the **** out the ball----I think they lead D1 in assists per game, with 20.1

I don't really have a Final Four yet, but I will say I don't think Gonzaga and Arizona can make it. Paper Tigers.

I think UCLA is the West Coast team with the best ability to make a Final Four, and they were placed into a beast of a bracket.

That coaching hire was a stroke of genius

Interested in your take on a UK vs Purdue matchup if it comes that way ?
Different Auburn poster here, but I have very little faith in Purdue. Their defense is abysmal and even a little worse than bama's. (94 vs 100 on KP) I'd think of it like the last game between bama and UK where bama shot the absolute lights out in the first half, but UK was able to stay in the game because bama couldn't get any stops on D. And that's assuming Purdue is clicking on offense which has not been the case in a lot of games lately. If UK can frustrate them with solid D, they should be able to build a lead because Purdue will be lucky to hold UK under 85, imo.

I think we got a really favorable path, but I'm honestly surprised at how many posters here and experts have us going to the F4. A few weeks ago if I saw this draw I'd be really confident, but we are going to have to play a lot better than we have recently away from home to get it done. If our guards play solid and let our front court advantage take effect, we should be able to get to through the first weekend. Wisco was the 3 seed I wanted to see most in our bracket, but I'm honestly not sure they make it that far if Davis' ankle is till banged up. We could end up facing a Wadeless LSU in the Sweet 16. KU or Iowa will be tough in the Elite 8 and our guards will have to have started playing like they were in January/early Feb by then.

Hard for me to ever trust an Sec team besides us. They choke too often and ruin my brackets. I mean Tn plays like world beaters against us but could flop in the 2nd rd. In their over 100+ year history they have zero FFs.
What do you mean choke too often? Many down years in SEC still yielded a couple ff teams. SEC as a conference tends to over perform historically. I look for two SEC teams to make the Final Four this year. Which two idk? Kentucky will have a shot at ff but I’m not gonna pick them bc we have blown these open path types of opportunities too much since 2015

Kansas- runner up
Gonzaga
Villanova

Just feel like someone unexpected is going to go on a roll. UCLA hasn’t played well all season, but have that deep tourney run experience from last year. Gonzaga does as well, but they are not as good as they were last season (no Suggs). UCLA wins the revenge game. KU isn’t that great, but I like them better than anyone else in their bracket. I’m going Nova over Zona in the South just because Zona has a first year head coach and I think Jay Wright is a great coach.

Just looked at their schedule. They scored more than 70 twice in their last ten games. They could get hot, but they are not the offensive juggernaut you are claiming they are. A lot of scores in the 60’s late in the year.

I have:

Gonzaga
Kentucky
Arizona
Kansas

Would not surprise me if 2 or 3 did not make it. All have flaws and some potential interesting matchups.
I have a 1997 rematch in a couple brackets. UK 80-Arizona 72 for #9.
