They are playing the equivalent of their fourth game in three days. For sure it will have to be a wholestaff approach. So far this is their pitching usage.

Henry 1.2
Beck 4.1 2 appearances
Fontenot 4.1
Peterson 5.1 2 appearances
Walker 3.0
Hess 4.0
Hilliard 4.2
Marceaux 6.2
George 0.2

The only guys left on their roster who have started a ball game this season and have not yet appeared in the tourney is Hill, 2 starts 2 appearances 7 IP Moffitt, 2 starts 11 appearances 17 IP and Costello 1 start 12 appearances 16 IP.

Their tuesday guy Henry only lasted 1.2 innings. Do they run him back out there?

Clay Moffitt is starting for LSU. Not much work and a mixed bag of results. Normally doesn't go past an inning or 2 except against Grambling (5 IP). Hill is out injured so the bullpen is very depleted.

My fear is that we will discover Moffitt to be the Cajun translation for “RAT”

If this is the guy he will have to step it up a bit...

Other than 5 innings vs grambling he hasn't pitched more than a couple of innings. He pitched 2/3rds of an inning vs UGA in March. Most recently he has not fared so well. In April he gave up 3 runs on 2 hits and 2 BB to UF without recording and out and in May he gave up 2 runs on 2 hits and 1 BB in 1.2 innings vs La Tech. His last outing was May 9 working 1 scoreless inning of garbage work vs Arky after the hogs had a 10 run lead.

You never know though how a kid might respond to a challenge like this.
