Auburn has no idea what it is doing. If you are going to fire a 10-year head coach with only 1 loosing season and only a few seasons removed from 13-0, you better have someone waiting in the other room. Instead, their idiot of an AD is conducting interviews with anyone holding a football in a hotel lobby in New York, and The Birmingham News is along for the ride the entire way.

This is why I am glad that Byrne used his ninja skills to keep everything quiet.

How wild will the west get? We already have a long way to go...but to compete against the coaching staffs in that half of the division? That would get ugly.

Must:
Beat Alabama regularly.
Out recruit Nick Saban.
Do exactly what Bobby Lauder wants.

For some reason I don't see anything good coming out of this for Auburn.

of the hiring trend Bammer when through a few years ago after the Dubose (sp?) firing. I guessing that Auburn will go though 2-3 coaches in the next 6-8 years before they land on a good coach. BB
