Maybe you should pump the brakes and let Frost handle it.. or at least let him have at least one practice before you go to the extreme.. Position changes and transfers happen every single year.
I think there could be some changes coming in positions... ILB, OLB, DE.
So many players could play either DE or OLB. Then the same with ILB vs OLB.

There are 15 on the roster for 4 spots, not two. Also Roberts and Honas will have to play well to beat out Young and Berry at ILB. It’s OLB, where we have the questions.
Let’s be very clear about one thing. Roberts and Honas WILL NOT have to play well to beat out Young.
Hate to bag on a kid but young has never improved from his freshman year if you watch him he's to stiff from the waist down he could get relegated to special teams
I think he was one of the worst offenders at going into business for himself and not plugging the correct hole according to scheme.
Perhaps with the right coaching, some of the players might actually get BETTER. We shouldn't be writing off players just yet.
Note that one thing some arent talking much about are position changes
When Bob Stoops took over for John Blake at OU- OU got a lot better quickly because of position changes- moving kids from Offense to Defense- Defense to Offense
Pelini did some of that as well- Running Back to Linebacker (Cody Glenn), and a Receiver to DB
Don't discount having a totally new set of eyes on a situation that sees something the other coaching staff didnt- no preconceived notions
Kids do get pigeonholed- it happens on EVERY football team

Exactly, they recruited him because he makes tackles all over the field and is very physical, something we have lacked on defense for quite some time.
If he ends up sitting on the bench then that means some of our linebackers got a ton better because I think this kid is going to be a stud imo.
true but it means a lot of other players now destined to sit on the bench when they thought they had a chance to play.
most of NEBs LBs were fairly well recruited and i'm sure expected to come here and play. its pretty obvious there are too many of them to begin with and now someone walks in and goes to the front of the line.
If you came here expecting to play and not expecting to have to get better, to work and earn your spot, perhaps that is why we were good at recruiting high school seniors and not as good at developing college level players.
