I believe you are also a piece of ****. watched my mother get beat when I was a kid won;t except it from any piece of **** now
From the article I’ve read sounds as if she was the one being violent towards him and he was merely fending her off. She admitted he acted in self defense and denied she ever told police he choked her which was presumably for a few seconds. Think I would hold off calling someone a POS merely from what you “think” he did. If more comes out by all means but until then your just stating he’s guilty without any due process.

You might wanna slow your roll and get some counseling. Your coming off as a man hater. If he did it fine but last time I checked it’s innocent until proven guilty.
any man that condones beating on women is the one that needs help. don't hate men I don't hate anyone but if you can't put the acts of a violent man above winning basketball you need help

Who has condoned it? Not a damn sole but there is zero proof thus far that he even raised a hand to her much less beat her. Sounds like she was beating him and he did what he could do to hold her off and calm her the **** down and she got pissed and called the cops. That’s not domestic abuse on beards part. If more comes out stating otherwise then will certainly evaluate those details but that is pretty much what has been made known thus far and you already have declared him guilty and anyone who doesn’t agree with you needs help. Give me a ******* break!!

Again I don’t know the facts and neither do you, you really think a man is going to beat a woman by scratching her and your calling me an idiot😂. As far as bite marks are concerned that could have been done during their romance time, some people are into that type of stuff. To each their own.

Being reasonable is waiting for facts to come out, not calling a man a POS when you don’t know a damn thing. Funny you believe he beat her because she called the police but you don’t believe these comments she made “Chris has stated that he was acting in self defense and I do not refute that. I do not believe that Chris was intentionally trying to harm me in any way”.

I don’t need help because it hasn’t been proven he did it in a court of law yet, something you seem blind to as a man hater.

Wut?

If Texas saw enough to fire him, there’s probably a good chance there’s something there. Sure, his legal guilt or innocence has yet to be determined but I highly highly doubt he’s clean here.

I don't think Texas would fire the best coach they have had in 20 years if he was innocent

That’s because Johnnie Cochran was a master of misdirection. Got Furman painted as a mega racist (which he was no angel and doesn’t deserved defending ) and Kato as a liar.

Everyone with a brain knows OJ did. Just like Casey Anthony killed her baby. All you gotta do is convince one jury member that everyone is out to get your client.

Could work out perfect. Texas opening gets Cal off our hands. Beard pleads down, gets probation and completed counseling just in time to be HC for the CAYTS next year. Cal has one great season with his super class at Texas then slowly fades into retirement. Beard has a so-so year 1 as he rebuilds. Then leads us to several titles over the next decade.
Beard is a non-factor as he should be. The idea that so many on this board so easily make excuses for him just reinforces why I have been losing interest in coming here.
Your last sentence is enough to call you a dope. Several titles over the next decade? How many has he had in his lifetime? Bill Cosby would be a good assistant for him.

When you read the report of his firing, they didn’t care if he was innocent or not. His getting arrested was enough for them. He was suspended and then fired without the university ever sitting down with him or his fiancé to ask any questions at all. His fiancé wrote a letter to the university in an appeal to allow them to keep his position. That of course does not mean anything regarding the event itself and what took place. I’d be willing to bet my events of what took place are very likely though which is far different than he just decided to knock her around during an argument.

So let me ask you... you going to let a woman beat you to death with a baseball bat to prove your chivalry...if so you are an absolute ignorant fool.
Unless something has changed. Pretty sure his fiancé didn’t have a baseball bat.

if a anyone comes at you, woman or not, with deadly force then all bets are off.

Lay low for a couple years working as a scout for some pro team. Resurface at a small school as a redemption case. Refrain from having the cops called to his house for a few years. Back in P5 by 2027.
IMO this is the most likely scenario, and the most important part being not having the cops called for another domestic disturbance, or any other types of encounters with law enforcement for that matter.
