So do we know anything definitive yet? Seems Whop and Gay are confirmed (or about as close to confirmed as we can be). At least we are deep at LB and have some other options at WR. Who else?

Yeah I've heard that too and that sucks. I was sheepishly hoping for a Nick Fairley type breakout season for him. Both come in under the radar from JUCO, then suddenly becomes a stud, coupled with a transfer QB who lights up the world. Oh well, I should have known better.

I could see us getting on a roll and then midseason the NCAA comes down on us because of this deal, again similar to Auburn 2010.

In what way did the NCAA "come down on" Auburn in 2010? To my recollection, they skated on Scamgate all the way to a national championship.

Oh I agree I'm simply saying we'll be put on the defensive. And because we are MSU it won't work in our favor. That was sort of my point, I could see how we had the pieces in place to do something randomly cool but the forces of nature simply won't allow it.
