For what position.

Does Riley have connections? Would be a great hire.

Not that I could see, he's tied with Diaco at Notre Dame...

Dallas native, 5 years experience in the B1G (1 Minny, 4 Wisc), played at Iowa (sorry), coached with Diaco at Notre Dame, GA under grandpa Snyder, 5th round pick, current secondary coach at Oklahoma.

$450,000 is the latest salary reported that I could find from June 2016 with a guaranteed contract through 2018.

Title him up with run game coordinator & special teams coordinator...

How is he as a recruiter?

I would like to have Diaco coach OLB and hire a new coach for Safties. That way no coach is responsible for more than three players on the field. Same would be true on offense if we add a TE/OT coach.

I wonder if we would consider Les Miles? Les would have the opportunity to wait out a few years until Riley is done, and then he could take over as head coach. It could work out nicely for us. Just a thought.

Just a thought that has been repeated by about 12 others on this board. Be ready for a backlash, people are starting to get hostile over this suggestion.

I haven't thoroughly checked but at first glance, he more than holds his own.

Read gone, DWills hired.
Banker gone, Diaco hired.
Stewart gone, spot open.
But Kaz said they almost had 2 openings which I took to mean someone else because we didn't almost have 2 openings, we did have 2 openings.

It's been rumored that Bray was looking at a coordinator position.

@kaz36 can explain what he meant if it's not the above...

Damon Benning said this am he expects another position to open up besides the 10th coach. That means, if hes right, we would gave 2 openings and the 10th coach.

Correct. Rumor is that he may have been offered the DC position at SJSU, but turned it down.
DC at SJSU? Don't they already have a DC that was hired in December?

Bray is a coach that I'd think has limited time here at NU. He's an up and comer and will get a DC gig in near future at a school like SJSU.
