it was completely predictable, Some of us tried to warn you. Realistically where do we go? How soon can we actually afford to get rid of him? Who could we get? It goes without saying if we don't get rid of John Cohen first it won't matter why we do. Cohen should resign he has been so bad. He won't. I'd assume we can at least afford to fire HIM. If we can't, it's over. LOL at Kentucky playing Don't stop Beliving.

We could trap him into liking a funny meme or plant a journalist to ask him a certain question knowing how we could get him to cancel himself and it would be an easy out for Cohen and Nelle to sacrifice him in the name of BLM. Then we go out and offer Matt Campbell 9 mil a year.

You don’t hire leach and then want to fire him within 2 years. I was not a fan of the hire for the same reasons you likely weren’t. But He’s here now.

I’ll never understand why we have our best decade of football running a certain offense and then Cohen goes polar opposite for 2 hires. Too soon to know if leach will be successful or not (history says he will) but if he is not, you can’t let Cohen make a 3rd hire.

Took me 5/6 games to know that Moorhead was not going to work out

Leach may have a few trick's up his sleeve, but I don't know.

I was opposed to hiring him (go check my post about the time he was hired)
but I decided to shut up and let it play out.

We are not in a good position. But Leach is pretty salty, maybe he can work some magic.

The O as is, is not going to fly.

Cohen was a somewhat successful baseball coach. He should never have been made AD. If he makes another hire period we aren't serious about sports. He has used up his grave period.

He , as you pointed out, never should have been hired. He does not fit MSU football, it's a cultural thing. That Cohen even hired him should be grounds to fire Cohen.

Ok, I've been off the boards for a couple weeks, so what the hell is this ****? We just doubled them on yards with our QB not throwing a good ball and our star RB hobbled, not to mention an OL that hasn't blocked a 3 man rush once in 2 weeks. Give the man a chance you idiot.

Good post. It took him until Year 4 to really get things rolling at Washington State, but then they were good year after year. That’s how long it took for them to get the full roster on the same page, both from a talent standpoint and a consistent chemistry standpoint between WR’s / RB’s and QB. In year 1 there, he scored 7 points or less in 4 out of 12 games.

We aren’t Washington State, and we have more advantages than they do, but the rest of the SEC West and most of the East also have far, far more advantages than the Pac 12 schools. So, its not a completely irrelevant comparison. Hopefully it won’t take that long, but we may have to be patient. Either to wait on Leach to figure it out, or to get a new guy in who will undoubtedly have to blow it all up and do a complete rebuild which will take another couple years at best. It may be 3-4 years for us to be competitive at a high level again either way. I’m not sure I see any scenario where it happens any sooner.
