Decent student turnout. Not a bad population in general for the team and the time.

Matt looking good so far.

Martinelli pulling up for a jumper off the dribble makes me happy. He would not do it if he was not confident in it.

Just shows how hard he has worked on expanding his game.

Hunger almost killed Leach without noticing. Cats look much better on the floor, but the balls aren’t falling. Waves have gotten away with a couple of key fouls. We’ll see if it matters in the long run.

Checking ESPN feed. It said Matt Nicholson made a jumper. Is there some kind of glitch at ESPN or did that really happen??

Matt missed a layup, got his own rebound and tipped it in or something like that. Hard to see in the scrum

Pepperdine was playing us close for a while then suddenly we’re up by 15.

Finished the half strongly and in the locker room with a 31-19 lead.

Competition for spots is one way players improve. Ty and Justin are both solid players. Ty is not playing as well today and if he can’t get it together, his minutes might lessen. Hopefully that motivates him to make every minute count going forward.

He was key in closing out the last game, after all.

Good defense from the cats turns into a careless turnover followed by a dumb foul by Ty. Yuck.

Ty at this point based on performance is probably our eight best player

Ty had slumps in the past. Multiple poor games. He came out of those, he will come out of this one! When he got injured last season he was playing at such a high level.

Abysmal shooting must get a lot better going forward. This was the last gimme game of the season,
