Yes I would imagine so, but I wonder if leech may have use for him elsewhere. Since he was recruited by Mullen, you know he can run the ball, if he has any kind of hands on him whatsoever he could be used as a TE?
Thought he was a solid thrower out of high school. I know he was the prominent passer history wise at his high school. Really athletic too. Shrader and Rogers could be ahead of him though. Supposedly he was apart of tutor gate too so leach might not be high on him for that also. But let's be honest just like tommy boy snd Shrader were Moorheads guys that he brought. Costello and Rogers are guys leach recruited and wanted. Everyone is behind them no matter experience. Leach has tutored plenty of qbs though so whatever he thinks will work best. I trust his judgement way more than Moorhead. Leach is like Mullen in that he has been proven to put out high caliber qbs over and over in his system that can perform big time running that offense.
If Mayden ends up elsewhere I'm sure he will do well. So I wouldn't just say he isn't an athlete or he didn't pan out. If anything he still chose to come to MSU even though Dan left and tried to pull him. He stayed on his commitment. He wanted to be a dawg. Hope he still wants to be a dawg.

Since it's us afflicted with it, I hope it works. That being said I hate it and everything about it. I like defense and a good running game. I'll still watch as it's MSU, if we win great, I'll enjoy that. If we don't..........
