From what I watched and read, this morning has not gone well for Kavanaugh. It’s early though.
That said, this morning really drove home what an utter disgrace Diane Feinstein has done with this nom process. She screwed Ford, Kavanaugh, her committee members and pretty much all of America. We should be able to throw water balloons or something at her.
Summing up the Dems: “you’re such a brave patriot and woman, FBI Investigation!!!!!!!”

Maybe...maybe not. All that has to happen is that the Senators have to feel they have enough cover after today's circus to vote for him...there is no proving beyond a reasonable doubt - this isn't a court of law. If it were a court of law she would have been torn shreds...as it is, she has verbalized inconsistencies with her own story and that should give people cause to question her story.

Heck yeah they should have gone with the Lady, I mean when you have a President that already has his own myriad of accusers and scandals ya should have hedged your bets, but I think Trump picked this guy for his views on the executive branch and Presidential powers. They just don't seem to be very self aware and are stuck in campaign mode where it seems pleasing the base is all that matters.

Unless I'm missing something....this prosecutor is a disaster. She has had many chances to put Ford into a corner. For instance....she could have asked Ford if the other people at the "party" were lying when the swore under oath that what Ford said was basically a lie.
I'd agree with you Coop the optics as far as her looking like an abused shivering "wounded puppy" don't favor the Republicans. But the substance of her story is crap. Who doesn't tell anyone after such a horrendously traumatic event that no one else there remembers?
But I'll also tell you Coop, that this entire sordid affair won't go well for the Left. Judge Kavanaugh will be confirmed and seated on the Supreme Court, and the outrage over what you correctly described as nothing but a smear campaign to prevent that will not benefit the Democrats.
If your side wants to pick Supreme Court Justices this is not the way to do it. If you folks on the Left don't want Constitutional Conservatives on the Court, win enough elections to get whatever other Jurisprudence you think is better for a Constitutional Republic on the Nation's highest court. Smears against otherwise qualified Judges will only get your side more electoral defeats.

If it were me---- I'd let the FBI investigate. If they find no evidence against BK he wins. If they find BK guilty I think President Trump should nominate Hillary Clinton to the Supreme Court. That way the FBI would finally have to investigate her and find all the wrongdoings she has avoided for so many years:smiley:.
Based on what new information? None there! What a farce this woman is. Not know where she got her PhD. But, WOW, is it difficult to comprehend one with so little real knowledge. She is in a Psychology department but, I understand it, she is a statistician. I read into that that she is a number cruncher and NOT a person with a psychology degree. A perfect example of a totally uneducated PhD. Anyone questioning what I say—-just listen to her testimony.
What evidence is there to get? There hasn’t even been a crime alleged officially.
There were 4 people at the party. 3 of them have denied knowledge of the event. 1 has made an accusation. Where do we go from there?
