This may be completely off topic, but we have fought many wars to prevent the spread of dictatorship. Dictatorship is a history of oppression. IMO, the flag was always a sign of a country that fought against that oppression. So would Kapernick be willing to donate some of his money to the oppressed or is kneeling a cheap convenient way to protest it? Kids go to school with no lunches or money every day. They are oppressed. "Police brutality" is FAR from one of the greater oppressions in America.

As of the closing bell yesterday he’ll need to be printing about 3.75 billion dollars.

lol at you trying to play market shock as an actual thing................. you're adorable

since James spoke publicly in support, Nike's shares rose almost a full dollar/share......... and have, at its "worst," only fallen 3 dollars a share and is on its way back up.

Nike stock is back over 80 today. Some impact from these “protests”, huh?

Dictatorships are a good thing if ran by the right people.
Problem is these people do not come around very often.

What is not a good thing is allowing manipulated small minded people the right to vote.

Name me 1 good dictator...

Historically you can look at men like Otto Van Bismarck, Peter the Great and Kemul Atatürk.
Today you can objectivity say Vladimir Putin is a great leader. Turned Russia around single handed.
A lot of companies are ran by dictatorships. Nick Saban can be said to be a dictator or Bill Belichick.

Deport all kneelers.
If you kneel you get your citizenship revoked.

Ha ha. Some people profess to love the idea of freedom. An abstract concept, the promotion of which is worthy of the ultimate sacrifrice. What they hate is having to to see it actually exercised by anyone other than themselves.

Colin Kaepernick's girlfriend is a Muslim. What a cuck. She is leading him around by the balls. I remember five years ago this guy was bleaching his skin trying to look white. Now he is all ethic with an afro.

Revoke his freedom! He took that sh*t in a TOTALLY unacceptable direction!

With regard to certain chosen areas, there are good people on MANY SIDES... many sides...

Real freedom is an illusion designed to sell a flag.

In reality, ALL MUST ACT IN A MANNER THAT IS RANDOMLY* ACCEPTABLE TO ME!!!

*In all candor, my 'hot buttons' are pretty obvious - ha ha

If that is racism I would proudly wear that label

What does his girlfriend being a Muslim have anything to do with this discussion over his protests? Because you are a racist.

You repeat some false narrative about him bleaching his skin. You are a racist.

And seriously, his hair style bothers you. And I think you mean ethnic, not ethic.

Just another uneducated, racist ***.

Research who his GF is. She was someone who spoke against the US politically well before this incident. Kaepernick was not someone known to be political. His college teammates at Nevada said he never spoke about social issues before. The introduction of this Muslim woman who was political changed Kaepernick.

He was already feeling blackballed even before the situation with the flag because the NFL sponsorship fell off when he stopped winning.

Make a long story short the guy changed.
Sounds like the pu$$y manipulated him.

Kaepernick has a right to be offended by anything he chooses - even if the facts don't back him up. To some people, it isn't what's real, it's what's perceived.

Kaepernick has a right to protest over that perceived offense. Others do as well.

However, today's generation doesn't understand that consequences come with that protest. That may include the loss of your job. But, in this generation, whereby if you threw a fit, your parents gave into you. You ruled the roost. When other adults, such as your teachers, tried to teach you otherwise your parents threw a greater fit - how dare someone not recognize your greatness. When the real world hits you in the face, you're ill prepared to deal with it.

Enter Kaepernick. Nike's slogan says in essence sometimes you have to sacrifice everything. Sorry, Colin, but you haven't sacrificed anything. Where's your Letter from a Birmingham Jail? Where have you spilled your blood like in Selma? You've been to the mountaintop but couldn't see the grandeur. Instead you saw only the valley.

Nike won't feel the pinch now. Things like this don't happen overnight. Stock prices aren't going to drop like a hammer but they'll drop nonetheless, like your ability to quarterback a NFL team, it'll be a slow gradual decline into the abyss.

@Vernon I started this thread before the one was opened that got moved to off-topic... ...this one deserves the same.

My bad.

Your arrogance is downright comical you goofy weirdo. You clutter the site with a garbage thread then you fall on the “goofball” sword. Classic.

Do you follow the stock market much sweetheart. Do you know what a long term investor is? Do you know what event selling or event buying represents to an investor that owns say 250 shares of Nike? Circle back in 5 years and let me know if there is any significance in your joke discussion points haha.
