I hid my posts so the easily triggered soyboys don’t freak out

it was in response to his *** comment. Try to keep up Dean.
I'll admit that I don't have time to read much on here and I skip around a lot. So I won't be "keeping up" on everything out of necessity. But I don't think comments like that can be justified. And yes, I realize that in the moderatorless, wild west that this message board has become, my opinion is out of place.

The comment that triggered Tampa was when I asked, surprisingly, that he had a child, because I assumed he wasn't that old, acting the way he does.

I mean, if you’re going to put it like that…

I think most of us use sports as an escape from our lives. A chance to identify and succeed/fail with something more tangible than our daily life. Is it right? No. But waking up and going to a job that pays the bills is much less exciting and quantifiable than our chosen sports team. We all want to thrive and associate with greatness. Some of us have more opportunity than others for that to be directly tied to our own actions.

I understand escape but putting so many happiness eggs in such a flimsy basket is quite the gamble. It is out of your control and that is what makes it rage inducing.

Agree completely. I’ve been removing eggs the last few years. As life becomes more complex with more opportunities to find fulfillment in things I have control of, football becomes less important. But not everyone is lucky enough to have such chances.

I think some of you believe people critical of the program get off a message board that is for opinions whether you like those opinions or not, and sit around and seethe and beat the dog/wife because we lost a F'n football game. Is that what you guys really believe? I mean sure, there might be a few who do that but man, its not that serious. Even my breakdown weeks ago when I finally realized we will never be **** again during my lifetime wasn't that serious.

Okay maybe Kong. I'll give you him.

What do expect people to do after eight losing seasons? Express patience? Look it’s right after the game so people are going to be emotional. I’m interested in the coming weeks if they’ll be changes to the staff. Almost have to make changes just to appease the masses.
If Rhule does this, I'll lose some respect for him.

That's exactly what I don't want to see. If any of these highly paid coaches and directors start doing things in order to appease the masses (outside of stadium stuff), we're truly forever doomed.
