Announced he is going pro and will not play in Houston's bowl game. Not shocking he is going pro, sad he won't play in the bowl game. I hate that college football has simply become NFL Minor League training camp.

I don't know the nature of his injuries, but it seems he missed a fair number of games during his time at Houston.

It was always the minors of the NFL but it took an injury like Jaylon Smith’s to really convince top athletes that if your not playing for the title, it’s economically prudent to start the process than risk injury. College is a business just like the NFL only the students athletes get the short end of the stick in regards to revenue sharing.
