So I've scoffed at this in the past

But maybe it is Huddy. We need someone who will build something and stay a la Va tech. I saw where Collins beat Miami today and thought for a second we should have grabbed him last year. But he like Mullen would readily leave us for a better suitor. We need someone competent, who wants the job, and who wouldn't leave. I can deal with some character issues. I still love the Kang.

Who gives a **** if someone loves MSU or won’t leave for a better job? Leaving for a better job means they did a great job here. I love Hud for what he is, but damn. We can and should do much better.

Isn’t this the reason we picked Rocky Felker over Steve Spurrier?

Stop being small minded.

And that worked out for us the last time didn't it forest?
Absolutely. 9 straight bowls, a #1 ranking and a QB who should have a statue on campus. We will never have a successful coach for more than a decade. There are much bigger programs with much easier paths to winning a championship and much bigger endowments to pay salaries. Look how much we paid Moorhead. Chump change.

You're a little dense so I will slow down. Mullen Jumped and we called it a good thing. Are you enjoying this? We are back to the Croom years.

ETA: We took a chance on Mullen just like we did Joe, we caught lightening in a bottle with Dan. We caught **** in a Hot tub with Joe. I'm not even going to bring up what we caught with Croom. The Nation has caught up. Every league has network money.

If we can find a coach that instills effort and discipline and wont jump for the next best thing, that should be our guy.

He jumped because he is at a much better opportunity (money, location, facilities, exposure, tradition, path to championship). So what don’t you understand? Why would anyone come here and never want to leave? Just because they love Starkville? You’re dense.

If we hired Hud I would just kick MSU football from my viewing time. I would still follow the other sports.
