USC, LSU, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and Florida, all of which can probably be considered Top 10 jobs l, have been open this year, and we aren't done yet. Notre Dame at least could certainly pull a big name out of another big name. Has there ever been a year like this?

Nope. 2017 seemed crazy at the time but this has quickly surpassed it.

That said, I’ll be shocked if the Notre Dame search goes any farther than Luke Fickell or Matt Campbell. They are both natural fits and one of them is very likely going to get that job.

Meyer or Fickle. Fickle hasn’t left state of Ohio for a job but south bend would be dumb to pass over compared to Cincinnati even if they are going to join the big 12.

Wild *** scenario of the year….Michigan loses to Iowa, Cincy wins their championship game, Oklahoma State loses to Baylor, Bama beats UGA.

ND makes an offer to hire Fickell and he accepts….and coaches for ND in the playoff aGAINST Cincinnati.
