So did SEC NOW disrespect State?

I just wanted to hear what the talking heads were saying about the Egg Bowl on the different highlight shows, of which I record most on YouTube TV - which is awesome BTW. I went to SEC NOW first because they should have the most coverage, right? There was not even an SEC NOW show after the game! Ok. It's Thanksgiving, they took the day off, whatever. So the show the next day will cover it. NOPE! Barely even a comment about the brawl and zero highlights. REALLY? All that drama and nothing!? I went back to the previous show to see if there was a decent buildup segment. NOPE! Just a few comments with a couple clips. They even had a whole segment about teams outside the SEC! They harped on Notre Dame! Of course, there was plenty of Iron Bowl coverage. They even had plenty of coverage of the Arkansas Missouri game. Did I miss something or does SEC NOW just suck?

I'm glad they didn't talk about it. Everyone knows we won and all they would have talked about was the embarrassing fight.

I wonder if the universities requested that there be as little covered as possible because of the fights? It appears that a large majority of the fanbase has been endeared to Jo Mo because of the way he stuck up for his players.

I think they have determined that no one outside the state of Mississippi cares about that game. And they are probably right. Just like I don't care about Mizz/Arkansas. Notre Dame is a national brand with playoff implications even though I think State would trash them.

Like it or not, we are a small state that is looked down upon by the rest of the country and even the conference to which our schools are members.

The important thing is that here in Starkville, I know that the Egg is safe at home, we have a blast at gamedays for multiple sports, the economy is fine, and ESPN and secn can get bent.

Just an FYI-SEC Network has a “SEC Inside” 30 minute segment on the 2018 “Egg Bowl” that will run Wednesday night, 11/28 from 9:30-10:00. The description says “Drama” lol. Yeah, I would say so. It’s only 30 minutes, but that’s 30 minutes more than I’ve seen anywhere else.

I live in Alabama so I have to work to find Mississippi State coverage sometimes. I could just turn on any local news broadcast to find Alabama or Auburn coverage. I also don't get to get back to Starkville as much as I would like to.

That's the thing ... here in Alabama, Alabama football is covered on the news more than it is on the sports broadcast.
