Any updates on the FG kicker situation?

Don’t know the whole story but there were a couple of videos on twitter of students kicking 45-55 yarders. One guy at least used to kick and punt in Juco.

Suit him up and we win out... We can name it Brandon, and start chanting "Let's Go Brandon" as he is led onto the field by the holder... That way, the network cannot legitimately mute us.

Parlay this with the Candy Interview, Open Tryout Interview, and Brandon helping us go undefeated the rest of the way (including bowl game), and we will have a story to tell our grandkids... All in the same year of winning a baseball NATTY.

I’m currently in a walking boot on my kicking foot. If I take a grinder and flatten the end of the boot, I’d be deadly from inside the 15!

I would’ve preferred my old cleat that curved up in the front so much it was flat. This was best I could find. I think the tryout went well.

I have a feeling if someone could kick and was on campus they probably would be kicking somewhere else. Unless they were tired of playing football and wanted to enjoy college life.

Can we raid the golf team? You can train just about anyone to kick 35-40 yards in from a physical standpoint. The mental aspect is a whole other story. I figure kickers have that golf like pressure.

Played in a pro am about 10 years ago and teeing off in front 50 people was more nerve racking than if you made me sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl in a speedo. I would imagine anyone comfortable playing golf I'm front of a crowd can handle field goal pressure during a game.
