3 plays today could have made a difference in the game:
Giving up a TD on kickoff after our first score.

Missed field goal.

4th and goal at the end of game.

If these 3 plays went our way we win the game. This shows that in some ways we are not that far off, and the importance of our players selling out on every play.

The INT was as big as any of those. Made it a two score game and never got it closer again.

Special teams was at least a 10 point swing. It's been a problem all year.

I still scratch my head at some of the offensive play calling, especially in critical situations.

Tackling needs to improve markedly.

Your thread title sums it up nicely.

We've been hearing the "two plays away" excuse for 15 years. Fix it or get gone.

Lots of "ifs" for Wisconsin to where they could've had more that 37....like Chryst getting cute and throwing on 2nd and 3rd and short on drives when Taylor is going for 6 yards a pop....and having to settle for FGs instead of getting TDs.

In other words, the "ifs" are an unknown...and useless.
