Usually when they talk up a big storm and large amount of snow, more often than not it ends up being nothing. I have never seen a place dramatize weather like here in Omaha. Hope this is another case of over dramatizing things. Im sick of winter, ready for spring.

Lol, Oh I know, they go into melt down mode. Omaha is just as bad. I spent 15 years in SD and MN. Those places if it isn't over 10 inches life goes on as normal.

Everything that I have read is in agreement. Accuweather, NWS, Local news etc... .

It has just become an event like this the last couple of years. Now with the news cycle a 24 hour event things like this get blown up to these proportions. Just another way the world is changing!

accuweather has it at an 85% chance of getting at least 6 inches of snow in the Omaha Metro. Many schools are already closed for Wednesday. First opportunity I get I'm moving to somewhere it never snows.

I seem to remember back in the day with Jim Flowers. It seemed he was always forecasting tornadoes. Even during snow or clear blue skies.

He actually used to go to my old church in Omaha. Seemed like he was always nervous.
