Planning on making the trip. Gonna be dropping the women off at Grapevine with an expired credit card. And turning off my phone before they find out.
Sounds like a good plan with an after-effect of an extended stay in the dog house.
Unfortunately will be in Little Rock that weekend for a soccer tournament.
I’ll be in Dallas but for a marching band competition. Our priorities do change when the kids reach that certain age, don’t they.
Been awhile since I’ve seen a Grapes of Wrath reference and on point too. Lots of errors in that book that you would expect from someone from Salinas California writing about Oklahoma but one of my favorites.

Is your son a senior now? We’ve never met, but I do remember Catbird pointing you out once as you carried an infant by us. My how time flies.
Yup.. i thought i was going to have a drop back passer..or a power forward.. instead, i got a pitcher.. he is now 6-3 200# with hands half again as big as mine..
I miss cb and his tailgates.. he was the glue that kept us all together..
