Our WR being an utter moron is on the coach. He either never coached him on the rule, or has no control or recruited an idiot. Either one... I blame Monty.

Well hopefully those 4 points Hobbs didn't think were important don't end up being important

Luke gotta put some zip on it
Whoever the WR was made a great move to get open and Skipper recognized it. He needs to throw the football out in front in that one.

Plus there should have been targeting on SMU #4 on that play.

We’re doing a lot of things to lose this game. Excessive celebration after the first TD and a 50 yd return leads directly to SMU’s 1st score. A single goose step going in and we lose 4pts essentially. D playing hard to keep SMU down just a bit and we are killing ourselves with crap antics

Luke needs more and more practice on his bullet/touch passes.

He's still pretty good for a red shirt frosh. He's mobile and doesn't throw many picks. Some of his long balls are slow like you mentioned, but when he does zip one, the refs call it back on a SINGLE stride that looked bragadocious. Such garbage... At least we got 3 points off the defensive stop on 4th and 5 by SMOO

That was the most retarded flag for excessive celebration ever. He did ONE little high kick. Stupid stupid call.

Hobbs acted like a dumb a$$ and it cost his team a TD. It was a good call by the official. Hobbs has a lot of growing up to do.

D with another stop. Even in the 3 man front, Petera gets a lot of pressure into the backfield.

I think that is our 4th or 5th call for unsportsmanship this year. Second time tonight. First time this year they took the touchdown away. After the first one it's on the staff for not putting a stop to it. The first one tonight set up the long return and their second TD I think, I don't like the rule but they call it every time in college now.

Yeah it's hard to be mad at the official for calling a penalty a penalty. I don't like any rule that allows refs to take away points for something unrelated to the play, but it is the rule.

Hobbs should have been smarter but one high step shouldn’t wipe a TD off the board. Also that was definitely interference on SMU.

I was mad at Hobbs until I watched replay. I think the ref saw one little high step & anticipated more. There will be dozens of TDs in games tomorrow with more dancing than Hobbs did, without a TD called back.

Edmiston needs to hit the weights. I am pretty sure he’s not stopped a runner dead in his tracks at all this year. Always 2-3 yds or more after 1st contact with him.

Williams needs to stay back as a SAFETY

I am embarrassed by all the stupid unsportsmanlike like penalty calls. This lack of discipline - maybe character - has been a problem all year. If we loose this game that is why.

I was surprised they didn’t call Carter for the number one point into the air as went into the end zone on his catch. If Hobbs didn’t deserve it Carter did. The Carter thing first might have caused the call on Hobbs later. Either way we can’t complain. Should have been two scores off the board not one

Watching this game is like being in a Monty Python skit: Just sitting there waiting for the 16-ton weight to fall on our heads.
