We’ve passed up some open shots and taken some tough ones. I like the idea of trying to get the ball inside to Igbanu but when Taplin gets it outside the ace and is unguarded he needs to put it up.
SMU has 3 players out and we are struggling to keep up.

Is it just me or is Joiner in a slump the last few games? He just seems non-existent on the court. Not making mistakes but not really make things happen either.

Also, Haith please tell the white team to guard McMurray. Their entire offense is to pass until McMurray is open. STAY ON HIM.
Coming out of the media timeout I think Haith said “Alright McMurray is on fire. Men, if you see a pass coming to him run AWAY!!! I want him as OPEN AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!”
It worked on the attempt he took before this most recent timeout.

BTW for anyone that isn’t aware number 0 for SMU is McMurray from USF that made 5 3s and 22 points at the Don Rey in the 2015-2016 season.

Sloppy play there at the end of the half. Jeffries should have let that ball go OOB as it would have been Tulsa ball.
We will wear them down in the second half but at half we are losing to a team whose has a walk-on playing and is missing its only legit all-conference type player.
It pisses me off to no end that this team is not pissed to defend their home court against Tulsa kids.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a team intentionally foul at the end of the first half? Now giving up an open 3 then turning the ball over and giving up a second open shot was obviously poor.
Is anyone watching the awful broadcast?
