Smothers is a decent dual threat QB, however he does better in a system that runs 70% of the time.

He is sloppy, he has no attention to detail. He is stubborn, he lacks the ability to adjust to the game. No amount of change is going to work until Frost fixes his **** or gets fired.

Smothers was told to throw to the sideline and basically not over the middle except once or twice, including the last play's miscommunication. Smothers played well but that isn't showing confidence in your QB.
