It's Murray, right? Rarely looked out of control. The guy just glided down the court. His little acrobatic shots looked so easy and cool. Dead eye jump shot. And then you throw in Notre and arrow celebration.

So, who's number two.

I was joking about Ramel. But that was his nickname, right?

I always thought Ed Davender was pretty smooth. And Mercer is a good call.

Mercer. So smooth in the open court and when he would come of the curl to shoot that mid range jumper it was like Marvin Gaye was playing in his head

Derek Anderson would be my choice.
I would love to have seen him at UK all four years without the injury. I think you would be talking one of the top players to ever play here.

Murray was smooth after December. Before that, he looked out of control on a semi-regular basis. Do you remember the Louisville game? But when he had it going at the end of the year...super smooth. I'd maybe vote Tayshaun.

Mercer mash & Anderson were the first players come to mind. That 97 team was awesome until DA got injured, he & mercer were unstoppable.

Murray? Not even close. I would vote him , Most Like a Black Hole, throw the ball to him and it never comes back. Not really a good ball handler. Yes he is a scorer, but FAR from smooth. Jack Givens was smooth.

Rex Chapman always appeared to be in control. At least until he walked into an Apple Store.

Murray was talented but I wouldn't call him smooth. He got a little hyper sometimes trying to find his shop and you still needs to work on his driving .....wants to go left and stop with the ball into the defender too much, gets hung up. But he was good no doubt.

On this team I'd have Tyler on that list for sure. The guy never looked out of control even among the trees and could finish. Proved that you can be fast but play smooth, fast feet slow mind.

Also add Tayshaun, Macy, Givens, Mercer is a good one. Tony D pretty smooth too.

I don't know who it is on the court, but off the court, it's not even a contest

I'll have to agree about Ron Mercer. He just looked like he moved so effortlessly and his demeanor was so chill looking on the surface.

With Ron, it was like he would just relax with you, offer you a drink, maybe smoke a joint, and just hang out with you while putting up 20 points on you without you realizing it.

mashburn, lamb, mercer, i agree with all those. i'll even add booker. the reason mashburn takes the cake for me is not just that his demeanor was smooth or his over all game was smooth. his specific moves were smooth. he had a smooth yet killer crossover and a smooth floater. plus his distance shots looked effortless.
