I'm actually surprised we're playing tonight. I guess with the clear skies and ridiculous wind they figure the field is drying up pretty quick.

I agree, not sure how soft the field is. I figured Saturday or Monday.

I dont know of 2 that start both ways.

The JV coach does fine with less help than Varsity.
I do wish he would run the same offense as Varsity does. I'm pretty sure the younger teams run the same as Varsity.

4 and 33 there hoss. You might as well call them starters on O cause they get there carries too

Yes the senior backs start but I wouldn’t really call the freshman 2nd string. All of their carries are with the starting line in the games I watched. They don’t run with the reserves. According to max preps they are the leading tacklers on the team.

When we have a good jv team you can look out. Once they fall under Walsh coaching they are turned into an entirely different animal. We normally don't have very good jv teams

Murphy was up 14-0 in 1st Q and Stalcup got hurt. It was lights out after that, totally shell shocked.

I'm never going to say a team is a one man squad because that's disrespectful to the other kids putting in work, but this team is as dependent on one player as just about any Murphy JV team I've ever seen.

I guess if Rosman won they would be champs with win over Murphy. Robbinsville wins Murphy gets it with win over Robbinsville. Either way a competitive jv season.

There won't be any three way ties. If Stalcup isnt close to 100% by next week Murphy won't beat Andrews and Robbinsville will win the title outright. If he is 100% healthy though they will win the Andrews game and they will hold tiebreaker over Robbinsville.

Why is he allowed to run a different offense than the varsity team?
