Our defense will hold us into a lot of games, they are solid.
I love running of our backs, and i think we need to imply more screens, short routes,we got use to going for homeruns to much, Imo....we will be solid come playoffs

im excited about the shelby acr game i think its going to be a barnburner lots of speed on both teams we will miss rico no doubt though

The defense will be hell. The offense is a work in progress, we're breaking in a new quarterback, the receivers are good, very good, but we lost some flat out burners in Camp and Wright, the offensive line has some new additions. This unit will become high powered, though, once it gels.

I agree, a barn burner for sure. Y'all looked good Friday. Rico is a once in a decade athlete, but y'all may actually be more balanced this season, more athletes the ball will be distributed to. The offensive line was big, too.

Rocketfan73, your team looking very solid, hugh front offense line, Qb not great thrower but can run, rb speedy, and your Defense not large but fast to the play, again that game scares me, and its up there

Let me answer your cup cake first . why would a team that has only won 7 games the last 2 years want to play a team like mallard Creek or someone like them? when the Q foundation drop us we were left scrambling to try and find someone to play. I would much rather play a team we have a chance of beating than one that would beat us and maybe have more injuries to start this season like last Year . hopefully it will be a cupcake.

Cupcakes offer a false sense of security which will in turn equal a beat down at some point in the season. But hey, if it gets u 4 or 5 wins to make the playoffs then go for it.

That is so stupid. Why do you think college teams do it? Tune up game. They did what they had to do to have 11 games. Try harder next time. You must have little man syndrome or something. As far as my picks. Burns wins. Who cares about the rest of the teams. They are below us. That's right DBD said Burns is above you. Yes above you meaning you do not matter. You suck. You laughed. Your only saving grace is Devine is coaching your team. And since he is shortly removed from being on the Shelby coaching staff they may take it easy on him. Instead of us dropping 48 points on you. Ware may cut it back to 28 and give you a moral victory. Good luck with the Wildcats!

In the past, when we were competing for a state championship, I didn't like these type of games. But this year I don't mind it. Especially after the last couple of years and another new coach. I think this game can hopefully ease us in the season a little. And I highly doubt beating the CAROLINA WILDCATS will give a false sense of security. I know our players are teenagers but even they know that a big margin of victory against this team will mean absolutely nothing.

Can't pick Crest games so I'll go rest of SMAC. Big wins by Shelby, Burns and Kings Mountain. Nice wins by RS, East Rutherford and Draughn. Chase and East Burke come up short.

No way Crest is a favorite. Despite the 32-0 wins. When you lose that much...no way brother...SP as much as I hate to say it. Will dominate crest.

Nice pick up you Air Farse puke! jk :) The truth is that the SMAC is a joke! LA never mentions the political advantages unduely extended to the chosen ones. Makes me want to buy a trailer in CC.

Patience w/ the Shelby offense, though. You have cats out there ready for Shelby to abruptly go back to the wishbone after a subpar performance at the CC Jamboree. Take the positive out of the negative. Shelby still had over 200 yards of offense in a half of football, scoring two touchdowns on offense. We only had 3 possessions. Once it gels and gets some polishing, this offense is going to be a problem for opposing defenses.

I imagine that we're all excited and looking forward to Friday night, it counts, the season officially gets underway. In the meantime, scratch your football inch and check out some of this footage.:)

Burns, shelby and km win. I think south point beats crest this year in a close one. As far as the cupcake game .....NC , ashville and others had q scheduled as well. We were very close to being open week one which is a bad senario.
