Anyone see the guy almost run over multiple people leaving the green lot last night??

Nuts! Guy was in such a rush, he turned out of his row, right by the walk way leaving the arena, almost hitting multiple people, rolled down his window to yell back, then gunned it almost hitting more people!

SLOW DOWN!!

That has been a problem in the green lot for years. There are some nutty guys that rush out of there almost killing people - like they will melt if they have to wait in traffic for a little bit. Even if you have to wait leaving the lots it's never much longer than 15 minutes. 15 minutes or death by auto? Seems like an easy choice to make.

Playing devils advocate, the crowd should not walk down the middle of the parking lot as they head to their cars, and cross at the marked crosswalks only
Crowds are gonna do what they do. Drivers need to watch out for pedestrians, especially in this situation with a large crowd exiting and many children. The problem is with the dudes behind the wheel. I have seen the looks on their faces as they try to barrel out of there - panicked and maniacal. Must be a control freak thing: Can't wait in...traffic...will die....would rather kill others.

This was right where the walk way ends as fans leave the JMAC.

Glad I parked in the deck. Did see someone get into a fender bender leaving the game on the ramp towards Busch campus directly from Livingston.

How was it getting out of the deck?

I was wary of being stuck in the deck so I stayed green. Made the mistake of turning left onto hospital road and then getting stopped as it felt like they let out a million cars from the deck.

Super easy. I waited about 10 min after the game ended to leave the arena. No line leaving the deck and they gave me priority over cars coming from green/yellow. Worth it even if they don't have a built in external cut through in the deck.

I left from the back of the green lot (closest to yellow) and turned left onto Hospital Rd. That put me in the right lane so I breezed past the parking deck. The cars leaving green nearest the RAC ended up in the left lane and were being stopped to allow deck departures.

Yes- we were in that lane, but it wasn’t a big deal. Someone in the back of the line was laying on the horn - ridiculous. Maybe took 15 minutes to get out. No big deal.

I used to sneak out the back of green toward the dorms and thru yellow to Rockefeller road to Suttons but I got to my car quickly. Just picked the worst option of three. Lesson learned. Or select the deck next year. I selected deck for last season which didn’t happen.

Only downside of the deck is no cut through for general public to the RAC but it's worth it in every other way. I'll be doing the deck again next year.

This is not right. This guy was driving like an *******. I watched everything he did. I wish I would have gotten his license plate. It was that bad.

I am not disputing this one indivuals actions, I am sure you are not wrong here

Just mentioning that others returning to their cars or walking to dorms can
also clean up their act... of course these others are not anything like this jerk ,and not a danger to others

As always, the solar lot had no waiting to exit and I don't mind the walk. People are nuts driving fast around so many pedestrians, though...

Yes I yelled at the guy and he says sorry and then speeds away. He was old had to be 75-80 obviously shouldn’t be driving!!
It was almost comical to watch. Not only did he speed past anyone trying to cross, but he laid on his horn at the cars in front of him if they stopped. I watched him repeat this from the green lot all the way up Rockefeller Road.

Maybe he had to poop? Or had a wife/girlfriend waiting at home and his viagra was about to wear off?

Or both?

RUPD should collect video and write tickets.. that will slow em down.. write warnings first.. for drivers AND jaywalkers....

1 close call should have been enough to get him to slow down.

There is something wrong there... he needs to be tracked and given a talk to.. and have his weapons taken away until he is more sane.

You have to figure. 8,000 humans in one place, about 10% (at least) are completely stupid, and about 5% of those will act on it during those hours of the day, so stuff like this happens. Driving to and from sporting event parking lots, how many accidents happen there, if you aren’t careful and you end up being one and now your 3 minutes saved turns into 2 hours waiting for the cops + days in the shop = you are just plain stupid

People should drive more carefully. Henry Ruggs ruined his life and took the life of someone else and a pup in an instant. Saving 1 minute isn't worth the damage that can be caused.
