instead of 35-2 it was 73% shooting in 2nd half.

I believe we got tired and ran out of gas in those final 5 minutes.

The problem is we think we can beat Kansas....but Kansas knows they can beat us. In the end, the one who knows beats the one who thinks.

The problem was 15 made 3's. It had nothing to do with thinking and knowing but more to do with dead eye shooting. KU was making wide open 3's and hand in the face 3's.

Lamont West may need to be in the discussion of players that need to go. Bender, Hunter, West. Pick 2. Huggs can put Rout back to walk on easy. Harler would be in that mix but we already lose 2 senior guards and he got game experience. Can’t lose 3 guards unless he agrees to walkon.

Watch, Kansas will now probably not shoot anywhere close to that in the Dance and go out early. That team saves their best for wvu it seems. Devonte Graham plays out of his mind against us. That kid is an incredible player in the clutch. Unlike the reg season games, we didn’t really make key mistakes. Kansas simply won this game.

You don't believe that kind of shooting performance requires supreme confidence?

Agree except Routt fits the Charlie Hustle role that Huggs loves so I don’t see him punishing him for playing over his head especially these last few weeks. Bender, West, Hunter and Harler need big offseasons to justify staying IMO.

Kansas played great and won it more so than WVU lost it, but I think WVU did make some key mistakes down the stretch on offense. Throwing up bad shots and driving straight into double teams. Missing on a possession where we had 3 shots. Routt or Bender having an easy rebound that instead of corralling for the put back, tried an awkward tip in. I believe Sags missed on or two good looks in the low post. Despite KU shooting lights out, WVU had opportunities themselves. KU did not blink where as WVU panicked down the stretch.

Kansas wanted it more. When it was gut-check time they didn’t keep their eye on the ball. That allowed Kansas to deliver the knockout punch and other such platitudes.

Not really dude. It’s really about Kansas being a better team. One of their stars didn’t even play. WVU is good. Just not as good as Kansas. Pretty simple.

They didn’t want it more than WVU. No team has more drive and guts than this WVU team. This team is a 4 or 5 seed which mean they can beat anyone on a given night. Kansas is just a bit better.

They lost but fought hard the whole game and were in it til the end. They have their warts but still scare the hell out of anyone they play. Congrats to KU for putting on a shooting clinic that won this game. Hats off to Huggs and this team for an exciting and entertaining season. They demonstrated a lot of toughness and resilience. Now on to March madness and hopefully bringing home a final 4 banner.

Same problem all season...we don't guard the corners, left corner was wide open all night...at both ends.

A line-up full of McDonald's All-Americans plus they get to play the conference tournament essentially at home every year. They ought to win the B12 tournament every year.

Our guards ran out of gas and the role players did not do enough to win ...

Blue bloods do what blue bloods do. It’s a credit to Huggy that he competes with 3 stars.

People like you just miss the boat on life. But hey if you’re good I’m good.

30,000 posts and less than 800 like. That’s almost statistically impossible.
Insecure any? The poster I was replying to posted an unhelpful cliché. I replied with a post filled with unhelpful clichés. You didn't get it. As to my likes per post, I probably had 25,000 post before liking a post was feature on the board. How insecure do you have to be to reply the way you did?

Honestly I just went back and read your post again. Actually kinda funny now that you’ve properly informed me of your intentions. But we don’t get along so “hit me with your best shot”. Better yet I hope WVU goes out to SD and “wins one for the Gipper”.

I was suppose to meet Greg Jacobs one night for a basketball game but the guy who showed up was about 400 lbs and had a face of a bull mastiff

Let's just say I ducked out
Not being superficial or anything but he as ugly as his personality

Reminds me of a one eyed alligator
