That was my immediate thought, had one of our players done that it would have been an automatic technical!
That was one of the worst calls in basketball history. An excited kid two hand slams the ball down in elation, half controlled, and gets T'd up. To this day, I hope those refs look back and feel like the idiots they are.
Said the same thing. Cost us a game. Seems to be selective enforcement going on.
Just another awful call in a slew of awful calls. One of the worst called games I can recall. Just godawful

That one single call, quite literally sent Kentucky down to a 4-seed from a 3-seed (and I think even an outside chance at a 2-seed). Could have been a much different tournament.
And I felt so bad for Humphrey, more then I did for the loss.
He was in tears, wasn't he? POS refs. That was such a "stick it to Kentucky" type of call.

People who choose to officiate sports as a professional are control freaks who have to have some control over all situations to exist.
If WE DO IT, sure. No consistency in the officiating ranks whatsoever. Weve been told not to expect it. They'll call it the way they want for whomever they want.

I couldn't believe it when he did that flop head **** and they called it against us again. Last game it was tight and they called a clear flop on him against us and he was shown laughing afterward. He does it again and in Rupp and they reward him again. Man I know he would have helped this team a lot but he has such a punchable face.
I'm so glad they cleared up the flops this year as a point of emphasis. Say what you will about our team we never flop. I know it hurts us in the long run, but I hate that crap.
